A Moment of Rest

My photographer captures an afternoon rest stop in Baja California. If you have not yet visited www.hobofabby.blogspot.com may you have your liver pecked out for a thousand lifetimes by a thousand vultures.

So Aaron, just when I get used to checking your blog several times a day for news, you decide to take a break...Thanks for hanging out with Matt, I wish you and Karl were still with him. Keep writing even if it is just about Columbus...your mundane may be my exotic after all. I'll keep checking.

Mr. Seely,
I am impressed that you are able to stomach this nonsense on a twice-daily basis. Kudos to you. My own mother does not even have the audacity to set foot into this cyber insane asylum I call a weblog for fear of the madness that she will no doubt encounter upon entry. I wish that the last five days of silence on this forum were, as you stated, a break. My journey met with sad and bitter end - alone and deprived of my salvation in a strange and desolate land - plucked straight from the pages of a Camus novel. I have been searching for the strength to tell this story, and do it justice with my pen. When this task is accomplished I will then be able to take a break. Until then I will gaze through the prism of your son's words into a beautiful ugly world I miss so dearly. Ciao and thanks for reading, Aaron.
